Captain Morgan had lost cultural relevance and needed to engage with a different type of youth audience. They wanted to move away from their associated image of pirates and heavy drinking in bars to something far more positive.
Working alongside the team at Virtue I helped reposition Captain Morgan's brand message to a strategy that was all about making moderation celebratory. I had the opportunity to contribute my creative direction skills and conceptualise ideas for the client through clear and bespoke visuals.
I lead the deck creation throughout the project, utilising my expertise in layout, typography, and brand guidelines, crafting visually stimulating and engaging mock ups and lock ups effectively conveying creative concepts and engaged the client. I also used my responsive web design skills to create a landing page for the campaign.
